About Laura Bennett

Laura is an executive coach and leadership development consultant, with nearly 20 years of experience working in Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations. She supports mid- to senior-level leaders to lead more consciously and create transformational change in their leadership and life, partnering with them to co-create an individualized, meaningful coaching journey.  Laura works with leaders to recognize and lean into their values and strengths, develop a deep sense of purpose, and strengthen the competencies that will best serve their leadership, teams, and organization, ultimately amplifying their leadership impact and business results. She also supports leaders to identify internal assumptions, beliefs, and blind spots that may limit their effectiveness, and cultivate habits and structures to navigate them. 

 

Laura also specializes in designing and facilitating leadership development programs for leaders and senior teams to elevate their collective leadership and learn from one another through reflection, discussion, and application. She has led workshops on topics such as: authentic leadership, activating confidence and inner wisdom, leading change, emotional intelligence, leader as coach, powerful communication, strategy and delegation, team effectiveness and talent development. . 

 

Over the past several years, Laura has been privileged to coach for the Center for Leadership (CFL) program at the University of Colorado - Boulder, coaching students at the early stages of their careers. She has also participated as a coach for the My Career Accelerator Program (MCAP) through Mile High SHRM chapter, led webinars and workshops for the Northern Colorado HR Association’s (chapter of SHRM) annual virtual conference, Denver’s OD Network, Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce, the Women in Business network at Denver University, and for Region XII of the National Association of Foreign Student Advisers (NAFSA). 

 

Previously, Laura held various roles in leadership development, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and corporate communications. In that time, she served as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, designed and led group coaching experiences, managed and facilitated leadership and team development programs, and led the strategy and execution of organizational brand, communication and change management efforts. She was also the Associate Director for a leadership development non-profit organization, helping to curate experiential development forums for learning and development professionals to grow their practice, stretch their thinking and build community.

A Midwesterner at heart, Laura grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, and now resides in the sunshine of Denver, Colorado.  She values authenticity, deep connection, adventure, health, and family, and enjoys all that the outdoors has to offer.
